Downtown Santa Ana
Our Witch Walk DTSA venue is located on occupied Tongva, Juaneño, and Luiseño band of Native American land currently known as SantAna or Santa Ana, California. SantAna was stolen from these tribes in 1869 and became a safe haven for Mexicans, Mexican-Americans, and South Americans.
Latinx communities were formed, and SantAna to this day is considered “the face of a new California, a state where Latinos have more influence in everyday life — electorally, culturally and demographically — than almost anywhere else in the country.” (Jennifer Medina, Adam Nagourney, NYTimes)
SantAna was also considered the 4th safest city of over 250,000 population in 2011 (Beth Greenfield, Forbes).
Witch Walk DTSA is located near several staple restaurants, including The Den Cafe, clubs, bars, life-style stores, and there’s often multiple events going on in one night. We are also in close proximity to parking structures, and parking meters. Downtown SantAna is a quaint and quick walk around the Downtown area, and you can make several location stops as you walk location to location.
If you are from the aforementioned tribes above, or others not mentioned here, and would like to share your stories, please send us a message through our Contact Page.
